Kensington Hall No Longer Needed

Hutt City council has put the community on notice that it intends to consider a proposal, which if accepted, will see Kensington Hall and the associated land at 8 Kensington Avenue disposed of. Also known as the Senior Citizens Hall and used by Petone Lions for meetings, recent usage has been such that HCC now consider it no longer essential to the network of hall facilities within the City. Local residents or organisations wishing to make a submission in respect of the disposal are need to lodge them in writing with the Council no later than Friday 30 October 2009. Additional information about this proposal may be obtained on the Council?s website at www.huttcity.govt.nz/Council-Projects/Land-Review2/Kensington-Hall/ or from Bruce Hodgins at Parks & Gardens on 570 6871.
