Three-peat for Onslow Football Juniors

The Onslow Junior Football Club Grade 12 team the Bandipurs has won the Wellington Regional Junior Premier League title for the third year in a row. With an impressive unbeaten run of three years, the Bandipurs have amassed a 23 won, Five drawn and zero loss record. Coach David Kelly says "The best thing about this team is its great team spirit with all the players' really enjoying working hard for each other and playing the beautiful game." The Onslow Junior Football Club is one of the biggest clubs in the Capital Federation with over 781 registered players from nursery grade to G14 with G15-17 this year transferred to the secondary schools but including for the first time the new GOSL (Girls Only Sunday League). There are 118 children in the Nursery Grade for children turning five and six this year. Club Capitan Bill Robertson says "The club caters for players at all levels and has recently documented it's philosophy in "The Onslow Way" which outlines to players, coaches, and caregivers key messages built around the cornerstones of Participation.
